Horse Riding Packages

Jumping with us…

Jumping is a higher risk activity, and requires riders to have an estableshed flatwork level before they can learn, riders need to reach an intermediate level of flat work (we call this Canter C level) before we would support riders learning to jump with us.

We have developed a course which utilises our simulator and school horses to enable riders to learn how to jump. The simulator reduces the risk of falls, and builds requisite skill – the mix of school horse sessions in the course allows riders to put their learning into practice more safely. If you want to learn to jump with us you must pass the Develop Jump Position & Confidence course.

Should riders pass the Develop Jump Position & Confidence course there is the opportunity to book private jump lessons on the simulator (not school horses).

Membership to Jump Teams is by invition only from Johanna McDonald

Total time on the horse for each lesson is 45 minutes – this includes the time taken to mount riders, and secure their girth and adjust stirrups.  After the riding there will be up to 15 mins with your instructor for follow up and advice
Please be aware body protectors are compulsory for all jumping.
