Hoof Club Membership
Which membership is right for you?
Hoof Club caters for all ages of riders, it was created for horse mad individuals who want to learn about horse care, welfare, and improve ridden skills.
Hoof Club Lead Rein ( age 7 to 10 years) – these sessions are 2 hours long, members attend twice per month. Members spend time grooming and pampering their ponies each time, in the riding part they are focused to progress to get off the lead rein. Once off lead rein they will move into Hoof Club Juniors.
Hoof Club Juniors ( age 7 to 10 years) – these sessions are 2 hours long, members attend twice per month. Members follow the content guidelines from the British Horse Society Pony Stars program.
Hoof Club Seniors – ( age 11 to 16year olds) – these sessions are 2 hours long, members attend twice per month. Members follow a British Horse Society horse ownership skills program.
Hoof Club Dressage Team – ( from age 11 to adults of all ages) – Members follow a monthly 3 hour program (often riding twice) developing specific areas of dressage skill. There is a rider-biomechanics and horse development focus, as well as quarterly competition riding to develop riders to a higher standard. There are rider demonstrations, lectures, and the opportunity to use our Racewood Eventing Simulator.
Hoof Club Jump Team – ( from age 14 to adults of all ages) – Members follow a monthly 3 hour session (often riding twice, starting with a jump focused flat lesson) – there are quartlery competitions, strengtht training, and a huge emphasis on flat work specific to jumping benefit, (Jump Team is currelty full). Higher level jump coaching from a Senior Eventing Coach is provided throughout the year. Joining Jump Team is by inviation only of Johanna McDonald.
