We are happy to offer the following packages to support you in your quest to find and buy the right horse. These packages reduce the risk of buying a horse who is unsuitable for you.
Impartial qualified advice at every stage of your horse purchase journey will not only save you time, it will also save you money. Finding the right horse takes time, and patience.
There are times in every horse owner’s life ( and every horse’s life) where riding isn’t possible ( injury to either party, lack of time, lack of facilities etc). Horses need exercise and variation in their work – being realistic about how much education a horse has – are you equipped to provide/complete training and development of younger inexperienced horses?
Problems often occur down the line when a new horse arrives due to a lack of education of a new owner understanding what their horse actually needs – this can result in loss in confidence when the new horse becomes too much. We can support your journey and advise on what is suitable, after knowing more about you – we will never tell you to buy a horse, that is always your choice. We help you reduce the risk of buying a horse who will not suit you, and support you to find horses who will meet your riding aspirations.

Gold Package - £408
| 2 hour assessment at Rein and Shine EC learning about you. | This will include a 30 minute session on our simulator and a 30 minute session on a school horse - this is to look at your current skill, balance and confidence levels so we can be in the most informed position to help find the right horse for you. We will also spend time discussing your ground skill levels to manage and develop your new horse (lunging, long lining, ground work, training aides). Your knowledge of ownership responsibility is important - are you ready for modern tack, worming, ground care, feeding, wound care?etc. |
| Online search using this information | We will spend an hour researching horses suitable for you and send these to you as an example of breeds, heights, carrying capacity, age and education levels which will suit you. This gives you a good platform to launch your own searches. |
| Advise on sales adverts you find | You will send us adverts of horses you would like to view - We will provide support on the adverts you find, and advise suitability to help you focus and not waste your own time. |
| View your sales visits | After (you) arranging your sales visits you will send us images and videos of you riding at the sales viewings you arrange - (up to 10 horses). We will provide you support on the horses you have seen - conformation, way of going, ability and scope given your riding aspirations. For those in close proximity to Rein and Shine EC you can arrange for us to be present at the viewings which is an additional cost. |
| Pre purchase vetting support | We will arrange a local vet to carry out a vetting to provide health check support before you go ahead and buy. This can save time and money buying the wrong horse. Your insurance company will need a copy of the vetting certificate. Cost of vetting can vary depending on location, vet used and level of vetting - you pay this directly to the vets practice depending on what level you have chosen. |

| Remote rider assessment - own horse / a friends horse / local riding centre to you | We will look at your videos and have call with you to get a clearer picture of your riding aspirations and equestrian knowledge |
