Why this livery service would benefit you

This will suit owners who like to be hands on with their horse daily, but would like the additional flexibility to turn up the service whenever it is required. If you have any appointments, delays, problems or emergencies and you cannot get to the livery yard then no problem. Let us know and your horse will be taken care of and we add these additional livery services to your bill. You have the ability to come and ride and fuss your horse daily but with added flexibility to suit your changing lifestyle.

What does the owner do . . . ?

Owners need to pay for farrier, dentist and vet directly, we do not pay for these services. Wormers and worm counts will be added to the bill. There is a charge for fetching in and standing with the horse for these items.

Owners need to provide any supplements the horse may require.

Owners will need to provide daily care including mucking out.

We will provide one turn out (including rug change) or one fetch in (including rug change, feet pick and leg wash where applicable). Therefore you only need come up once per day.

Owners will need to provide exercise unless you choose to have a chargeable extra at your convenience.

We will feed your horse 7 days per week and administer those feeds so that all horses are fed at the normal routine times.

Demonstrable up-to-date vaccinations of all new horses need to be made available before being brought to the stables.

All livery owners will enter into a Buryhill Livery Contract which lays out the parameters of the relationship.

All horses become absorbed into the yard worming policy which is Worm Egg Count (WEC) driven - the yard management will lead this and ensure all horses are WEC and wormed where appropriate.
