For equestrian businesses to succeed they need to strike a balance between attracting existing horse owners as well as newcomers to the sport. Our vision for this business came from our experience of equestrian establishments from both a non-horsey, and a horsey persons point of view. Johanna has always been horsey and John was not, at first. Therefore both perspectives have been taken into account.
Rein & Shine was created for the thoroughly horsey person as well as the non-horsey person. We offer a brand new riding centre, established with the intention of ensuring all visitors can feel equally at home.
Horse 'establishments' can feel difficult to integrate with, especially for the newcomer to the sport of riding. Whether you are a horse owner looking for a superb new livery or just starting out and looking for the ideal riding school facility, we aim to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed at Rein & Shine.
The non-horse customer may be visiting with their friend, husband, wife, brother or sister. We welcome all comers – riders naturally, horse lovers who want to observe or those just looking for a pleasant afternoon in the fresh air.
Who knows, if you do not ride yet, you may even take the leap and try riding yourself – but if it’s not quite your thing you will find something to do at Rein & Shine, and in pleasant, friendly surroundings. You will have a love of animals, but may also have an inclination to just observe or ‘browse’ at first with a refreshment on our viewing areas.
